About Charlie

Charlie is a chemical engineer who became a software engineer. He builds across applied AI, RF/drone detection, social-media analysis, and language-learning tools, usually a few things at once.

computerchale is his personal brand: one person, many projects, always building. This site collects the work, the writing, and the experiments in one place.

Over the past decade he has shipped software across AI, blockchain, ad-tech, media, legal tech, and government. He has been a CTO, a solo founder, and a contractor embedded in teams at companies like Sky, Lyst, the BBC, and De Beers. He holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University.
